Introduction

The Assistive API Platform allows you to include generative AI models and tools in your applications. We offer a range of highly capable models and tools that can generate text, code, videos, and work with your files and data.

Our objective is to abstract the complexity involved in building with AI, such as managing infrastructure and integrating tools such as Code Interpreter, browsing, and vector retrieval, so that developers can focus on building great products.

Getting started with the Assistive API​

Create your organization​

To get started, go to platform.assistive.chat, sign in with your Assistive account, and create your organization.

Set up billing​

Navigate to the Billing tab and purchase some credits to start building with the API. Credits do not expire.

Set up your API key​

Now, navigate to the API keys tab and create a new API key. You'll need this key to authenticate with the API. Your API key is a secret and should not be shared with anyone.

Start building​

Head over to the Overview and browse the documentation and API references for our models and tools. You can also request access for beta models and tools.
